June 2003: Acquisition of Turtle Mountain Communications, Inc. allows SNC to deliver customized, secure communications and real-time video solutions for the Department of Defense, other government agencies and commercial customers.
October 2003: Acquisition of San Francisco-based military computer designer Inter-4, allows for the future provision of ruggedized computer and network solutions to the Department of Defense.
May 2004: Acquisition of California-based, WaveBand Corporation, provides innovative electronic beam-steering antennas and imaging radar systems to address aircraft autonomous landing, UAS detect, see and avoid, concealed object detection and surface surveillance radar sensor systems.
June 2004: Acquisition of Aviation Resources Delaware, Inc. bolsters aircraft and systems integration capabilities.
Acquisition of Colorado-based Straight Flight, Inc and Straight Flight Conversions, Inc. provides FAA/EASA Part 145 Certified Repair Station operations & expansion of aircraft modification, installation and maintenance capabilities at one of the nation’s busiest airports.

January 2008: Acquisition of MicroSat Systems, Inc. of Littleton, Colorado, expands capabilities in the small satellite market with innovative spacecraft development that included better payload mass fraction, power, data processing and pointing accuracy.
December 2008: Acquisition of SpaceDev, Inc. added tremendous space heritage with products that had flown on more than 300 spacecraft over 20 years, and represented a dynamic expansion of space technology capabilities, proven system integration, communications, networking and intelligence capabilities in the space sector.
Acquisition of 3S Engineering LLC (a wholly-owned subsidiary of SNC) expands capabilities in the areas of engineering design and support, compliance data development and documentation for aircraft modifications and avionics system integration.

Acquisition of Orbital Technologies Corporation (ORBITEC) of Madison, Wisconsin, expands capabilities in the areas of propulsion, propellant, and power systems; life support and environment control; bio-based products and production systems; and interactive 3D simulation software.
Acquisition of 328 Support Services GmbH allowed for global expansion of SNC’s modern commercial aircraft technologies. Expanded capabilities include full Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs), design, and build-and-certify solutions for customers such as Airbus, Lufthansa and Turkish Technic, as well as ownership of the type certificate and intellectual property rights for design, manufacture, maintenance and certification of existing Dornier 328 turboprop and jet aircraft.

Affiliate, TRJet Havacilik Teknolojileri Anonim Şirketi (TRJet) incorporated in Ankara, Turkey and serves the Turkish Regional Aircraft Project as well as the commercial aviation sector. The newly launched Regional Aircraft Project utilizes the TRJ328™ aircraft, a modernized version of the Dornier 328 (D328), as a first step toward production of Turkey’s first domestically-built passenger aircraft. TRJet will ultimately produce and sell the TRJ328 and will play an essential role in producing Turkey’s first indigenous passenger aircraft.
