Vindlér® Satellite Constellation

Space-Based Collection Service
Vindlér® detects and geo-locates targeted RF emissions, enabling operators to identify and track items of interest for enhanced situational awareness and decision making in complex environments. Leveraging a collection-as-a-service model, we offer customers valuable commercial geo-located radio frequency (RF) analysis products in support of the ever-changing signals environment. This space-based technology is specifically designed to address a growing national security and commercial need for timely, precise RF data.

GPS & RF Interference Monitoring
Vindlér provides the capability to manage RF emissions and safeguard against RF and GPS interference/jammers in an efficient, low-risk and cost-effective manner in support of both commercial and national security efforts.
Maritime Safety & Operations
This capability has immediate benefits for detecting dark vessels and countering Illegal, Unreported and Unregulated (IUU) fishing. Dark vessels attempt to obscure their location/activities by disabling their mandatory Automatic Identification System (AIS); however, other devices on the ship (radios, satellite phones) continue to emit RF signals.
Emergency Response & Force Protection
Space-based RF geolocation data improves emergency response efforts when GPS is unavailable or unreliable. It provides forces the ability to set a baseline for activity in hostile environments prior to making critical battlespace decisions.
Resource
Protection
Vindlér enforces sanctions, carries out interdictions and protects vital wildlife and natural resources. This is achieved by combining wide-spectrum RF surveillance, precise geolocation and frequent aerial revisits.

advantages
Built on a legacy of 60+ years delivering RF, electronic warfare systems and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance solutions, SNC’s Vindlér technology accelerates speed and performance of the RF spectrum. SNC successfully launched its second Vindlér constellation of three satellites for commercial RF data collection and analytics services in March 2026.
