WHAT TO EXPECT

Our Hiring Journey

Our goal is to create a hiring experience that’s consistent, efficient and easy to navigate. You’ll receive timely updates and get clear guidance as you move from application to offer.

Application Review

Submit your application online. If your experience aligns with a role, a Talent Acquisition Partner will reach out with a few questions. You can review your application status and manage your information directly through your Workday candidate profile, giving you clear visibility into where you stand.

Screening

A Talent Acquisition Partner will contact you to schedule your initial conversation. In most cases, this discussion is held virtually and on camera so we can connect personally and learn about your background, interests and career goals.

You may also hear from Sierra, our virtual hiring assistant, who helps coordinate scheduling and keeps the process moving smoothly.

Interviews

You'll meet with the hiring manager and members of the team, either in person, or virtually and on camera, to discuss the role, your experience and how you might contribute to our mission-focused work.

Offer

If selected, your Talent Acquisition Partner will extend a verbal offer. Once you accept verbally, you’ll receive an electronic offer letter to review and sign.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Before your start date, you’ll complete required pre-employment steps, including a background check. Completing these items promptly helps prevent delays.

First Day

Welcome to SNC – we’re excited to have you join the team! Our teams thrive on collaboration,  accountability and meaningful work, and we’re ready to support you as you begin your journey here.

How We Choose Talent

Who We Hire

SNC recruits, hires and assigns employees based on merit and business needs. Our success depends on the strength of our people and the expertise they bring, which is why our selection criteria focus on identifying candidates whose skills, expertise and mindset align with how we work. We look for professionals who take pride in their craft and are driven to contribute to work that matters. If you join us, you’ll be part of teams who move with purpose, support one another and deliver outcomes that help strengthen critical missions.

CANDIDATE GUIDANCE

How to Prepare for Success

Be Prepared

Review your interview confirmation to ensure that you're heading to the right place or that your video-chat systems are working.
Coming to one of our offices? Don't forget your ID — we take security seriously.
Arrive 15 minutes early to get checked in and settled. Those extra few minutes will calm your nerves.
Bring extra copies of your resume — you never know who you'll meet.

Be Yourself

Dress professionally but also be yourself. We want to get to know the real you.
Ask questions about the things that are important to you. You're interviewing us, too.
Relax. We know interviewing can be stressful and that's okay. We're looking for people who are honest, humble and hardworking, not perfect.
