SPARKS, Nev. (Feb. 22, 2025) – Some recent media reports have mentioned SNC as a potential alternate solution for the Air Force One program because of commonalities between Air Force One and the Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC). Although there are common national security and infrastructure requirements between the two, they are separate programs and contracts focused on different configurations. The mission for Air Force One is to provide safe, secure and reliable air transport for the President of the United States. The SAOC mission is to ensure continued airborne command, control and communication during national emergencies. Any discussions regarding the Air Force One program would be initiated by the White House, the Office of Secretary of Defense and the U.S. Air Force program offices. At this time, SNC remains focused on execution of the SAOC program and is proud to support this critical mission for our country.
