The companies intend to manufacture the largest variant of SNC’s AEGIR family of USVs, creating an immediate, scalable domestic production capability. The agreement is engineered to accelerate the schedule for fielding USVs at scale, directly answering the Department of the Navy's recent call to expand the fleet by 2031.
