Lisa is the Vice President of Business Development for SNC’s Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area. A large part of her role at SNC is coordinating the overall strategic plans for product development, program execution and developing new business for her groups’ government customers. So what drives her to make a difference each day? We spent some time with her to find out.
What brought you to SNC? Why do you remain excited to come to work?
I’ve been with SNC a little over a year now. I hit my one-year anniversary in November! I joined this company because I was looking for an innovative company, exciting products and work/life balance. SNC has checked all of the boxes. Prior to SNC, I was with ManTech for 16 years, fulfilling various roles in marketing, business development, proposal management, business optimization and strategy.
In my last role as Vice President of Solutions, I established and led a Solution Architect Team responsible for developing customized solutions, creating innovative proposals and targeted marketing for all Tier 1 bids.
I have had the opportunity to apply this experience to SNC under the Strategy Team, while learning the product side of the industry. I really enjoy working with MST and SNC leadership, learning about great products like SNC TRAX® software and services like our [Contractor-Owned/Contractor-Operated] COCO ISR aircraft support.
What is the most meaningful or rewarding part of your work at SNC?
We have a lot of fun here with exciting technologies, internal investments, and genuine people. The most rewarding part of my role is watching our technology in action and seeing the direct impact it has on enhancing our nation’s safety.
Why is supporting and protecting explorers and heroes important to you?
My husband was in the Marine Corps and my family, including my brother and grandfathers served in the Army and Navy. As we create new technologies that inform the battlespace and expedite ISR capabilities, I take pride in knowing we are helping the heroes that help us every day.
What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not at work?
For the “life” side of balance, I spend most of my time on the soccer fields and swim practice with my kids; taking a walk with my husband, working out at the gym; or crabbing and fishing on the boat.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I start every day with a large coffee from Starbucks!
