SPARKS, Nev. (June 19, 2026) – SNC owners Eren and Fatih Ozmen are named among America’s 250 Most Successful Immigrants released by Forbes Magazine. Under the year-long Forbes 250 Initiative that celebrates the American Dream, the magazine is honoring visionaries and icons who built and shaped this country. The Immigrant 250 list recognizes the profound impact and extraordinary success of 250 immigrant entrepreneurs, innovators, executives and cultural leaders who have achieved widespread impact across the United States of America.
“Fatih and I came to America with big dreams, a strong work ethic and a belief in the American Dream,” said SNC Executive Chairwoman & Owner Eren Ozmen. “This country gave us the opportunity to build, innovate and contribute in meaningful ways. We are grateful every day for the chance to create jobs, advance technology and support missions that strengthen our nation. We hope our story serves as a reminder that the American Dream is still alive for those willing to work hard and pursue it.”
Eren and Fatih Ozmen acquired SNC, a global leader in aerospace and defense, in 1994 when the company had fewer than 20 employees. Together, they expanded SNC through strategic growth, including 20 mergers and acquisitions. Today, SNC is the top Woman-Owned Aerospace & Defense Contractor. A global leader in the aerospace and defense industry, SNC delivers innovative technologies and transformative solutions that safeguard freedom, including current development of the next-generation Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) aircraft for the U.S. Air Force. This highly specialized aircraft serves as a flying Pentagon and is trusted by the President, Secretary of Defense and other high-level leaders to ensure government communication and control during national emergencies.
The Ozmens lead a portfolio of companies focused on disruptive innovations that will have lasting impacts on humanity. In 2021, they launched Sierra Space, an independent commercial space company, from SNC’s space capabilities to accelerate space innovation and strengthen U.S. leadership in orbit. Sierra Space builds mission-proven defense technologies, including satellites and the Dream Chaser® spaceplane, the world’s only commercial spaceplane capable of runway landings. Dream Chaser is scheduled to fly this year, revolutionizing space capabilities and supporting critical national security space requirements.
“Since its inception, America has been a place where people come to turn ambition into opportunity and possibility into reality," said Forbes Chief Content Officer, Randall Lane about the prestigious Immigrant 250 feature. “This list recognizes individuals whose ambition and achievements have not only created extraordinary success for themselves, but have also transformed industries and expanded opportunity for others.”
Over the years, Fatih and Eren have received many prestigious awards and recognition for their achievements and impact. For their contributions to national security, Fatih and Eren were both honored with the BENS Eisenhower Award. Eren has been named among the Top 10 of “America’s Most Successful Self-Made Women” and on the inaugural “50 Over 50” list by Forbes. She has received numerous industry awards including Aviation Week’s Laureate Award, the NDIA James Forrestal Award and the Service to the Flag Award from Women in Defense. Fatih is also a recipient of the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
