Vice President, Business Development & Technology Integrated Mission Systems
Mr. Rich Carter serves as the Integrated Mission Systems business area Vice President, Business Development and Technology within Sierra Nevada Corporation. He is responsible for an array of products and programs in the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance field with both DoD, Commercial, and International customers. He has worked for SNC since April 2013.
Mr. Carter has over 15 years of technical and corporate experience, both on the engineering and management side. Mr. Carter previously served as an engineer and Project Engineer for BAE Systems working on various tactical aircraft platforms, such as the E-2C/E-2D, F/A-15, F/A-16, F/A-18, and E/A-18G. Subsequent to that, Mr. Carter was the manager of programs for General Dynamics managing various power amplifier designs and modifications for Counter-Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Jammers.
Mr. Carter received a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University in 2004 and a Masters Degree in Technological Systems Management from Stony Brook University in 2008. Mr. Carter is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Awards and Recognition include EXtraordinary Commitment to Excellence in Leadership (EXCEL) and the Significant Technical Achievement Reward (STAR).
