The Space Vehicle Mockup Facility (SVMF) at NASA’s Johnson Space Center recently received a brand new addition! SNC delivered a mockup of our Dream Chaser® spaceplane to the facility. Its arrival to the SVMF, or more commonly known as Building 9, is crucial to preparing astronauts for when Dream Chaser arrives at the International Space Station.

Sierra Nevada Corporation successfully grew juicy red tomatoes for the first time in its Astro Garden system. SNC used its aeroponics technology to grow the tomatoes at its Madison, Wisconsin facility as a part of NASA’s NextSTEP-2 program.
