We are seeking a Software Systems Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related Engineering field and at least 6 years of relevant experience. What to look forward to: As a Systems Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to design, plan, and develop new system requirements using logical and systematic conversions of our product requirements into total systems solutions. You'll be responsible for conceptualizing and delivering difficult and complex system designs. You're technical responsibilities during planning, organizing and conducting projects involves the design and development of new system specifications, input/output processes and hardware/software compatability.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or related Engineering discipline and at least 6 years of relevant experience
  • Skill in forecasting milestones and coordinating program deliverables
  • Experience in developing and defining systems architectures
  • Strong knowledge of systems integration and testing
  • Ability to develop material for, and conduct periodic design reviews
  • Experience originating specifications, control documents, verification and validation plans, procedures, reports, or other documentation
  • Strong understanding of hardware and software engineering designs and principles.
  • Strong experience executing engineering design and development activities consistent with Customer quality, cost, and schedule requirements
  • Experience ensuring that all specifications, designs, and developments adhere to company standards, policies, procedures, and customer requirements
  • Ability to provide support in the development and maintaining of configuration baselines for systems and sub-systems
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance required


  • Prior experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • Previous experience with tactical RF, networking, and electrical power systems
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Aircraft modification and engineering design experience
  • Previous experience supporting software and hardware integration and testing
  • Ability to interpret customer and systems requirements and decompose them into software requirements
  • Ability to bridge between software and systems engineering
  • Previous software development experience
  • Understanding of DoD security protocols
