Working as part of a multi-disciplined engineering and management team to define system and derived requirements, support development of system architectures and to test and verify implemented designs against the system requirements. Define and create solutions using state of the art concepts and components utilizing: Open Standards (VPX, MORA, SOSA, CMOSS, …), cutting edge transceivers, frequency converters, filters, FPGAs and high speed data interfaces (40G/100G) coupled with advanced communication, SIGINT (COMINT/ELINT), TDOA/FDOA, wireless communication, detection, direction finding (DF) and geolocation algorithms.


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, Advance degree desired    
  • 6+ Years’ experience in system engineering design, development, Integration, and Test for DOD customers 
  • Signal Processing

  • Experience with System Life Cycle and System Engineering methodologies
  • Experience with complex digital design, digital signal processing, and RF voice/data communication protocols/systems and corresponding real-time embedded SW/FW implementations.
  • Familiarity with test equipment (Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer)
  • Demonstrated an understanding of the following systems related activities:
    • Proposal writing, drafting CONOPS, system and subsystem requirements specification, RVTMs, model based system engineering, risk analysis, engineering change proposals, first article test plans, interface design descriptions, trade studies and white papers
  • Understanding of RF chain analysis and link budgets
  • Strong understanding of both software and firmware code and unit test activities validating delivered functionality against identified requirements
  • Familiarity with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS), Linux, and Windows
  • Verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with engineering best practices, established history of taking products from design & development to production, including troubleshooting, integration & test, and customer demonstration
