If you have a keen eye for the big picture, excellent production skills, and enjoy working collaboratively, we may have the perfect role for you! As a Production Supervisor, you will be using your skills and expertise to oversee employees who put together component parts to make assemblies, subassemblies, packaging, or completed units for spacecraft and spaceflight payloads. You'll be responsible for reviewing our production schedules, material, and manpower resources, assigning employees to maximize our production objectives, informing employees of production and material problems, and resolving problems affecting schedules while maintaining the quality of our products. You'll participate in establishing and modifying our operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment, and procedures. You will lead and manage a staff of up to 14 technicians, including performance management and regular one on one meetings. The production supervisor is in the driver seat of schedule execution for advanced spacecraft environmental control and life support systems and propulsion systems.

  • Bachelor's degree

    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Ability to understand and interpret  technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications

  • Experience with corrective action planning

  • Previous management or lead experience; the ability to recruit employees; assign, direct, and evaluate their work; and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence

  • Experience in a manufacturing, production or warehouse environment

  • Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of manufacturing principles

  • Ability to review, interpret, understand, and explain technical work instructions related to aerospace hardware, electro-mechanical assemblies, and circuit board assembly.

  • Identify training needs and team technical proficiency.

  • Must be open to working extended hours and weekends, as needed.


  • Bachelor's or Advanced degree in engineering, aerospace, or management

    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

  • Typically, 2-4 years of relevant experience

  • Strong understanding of Continuous improvement, lean manufacturing

  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience

  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
