Primary Responsibilities Include:
This position will be the primary systems administrator and power user to support infrastructure efforts to improve application/systems functionality. Includes heavy use of Windchill and other programs.
Develops and implements tools and processes associated with Product Data Management (PDM) and a bill of materials (BOM) centric approach to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) structure development in support of engineering and manufacturing programs/product lines; the type of data to be imported into the Windchill PLM Product
Structure BOM may include but not limited to 3D mechanical CAD (Creo, SolidWorks, NX, etc.), MS Excel mechanical and electrical Parts List data and library parts
Plans and coordinates, when applicable, preparation of project structure documentation and schedules, to ensure customer contract requirements are met
Works with local and other individual SNC sites in support of tool implementation, user training, system administration, and data migration
Serves as the PDM/PLM System Administrator, Training Coordinator, and User Support Point of Contact
Performs Data Migration Support where applicable
Function as Enterprise ECAD and MCAD librarian and components engineer as availability allows
Understand, plan, and execute technical activities in accordance with SNC policies, procedures, and work instructions and specific Customer requirements
Originate and/or revise process documents in support of PLM and development activities
Requires a BA/BS in Related Field and 10 or more years of experience: Relevant work experience may substitute for required education
Advanced experience and working knowledge of Windchill is a must; Extensive experience in Windchill administration and development is required.
Ability to rapidly work with minimal supervision on projects involving both small and large Engineering, Operations, and Program Management teams
Previous experience and skills in project configuration definition, and product structure development in an enterprise level PDM and/or PLM tool suite
Must be able to work in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment with emphasis in rapid prototyping and fielding of capabilities
Ability to generate Product Structures in Agile, EPDM and/or Windchill that are 100% compliant with all product line items that various Engineering and Operations groups require as part of a products total bill of materials
Extensive experience and/or possess certification as instructor for general and CAD PDM/PLM users
Note: Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance may be required
