SNC has an immediate need for an experienced software developer to help enhance its massive and successful cyber security platform. This developer will help develop new features and improve existing ones in the system’s middleware, data processing, and data access layers. They will work closely with other team members to successfully deliver features requested by the customer.

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent combination of training, with 5+ years of related work experience.
Strong experience with Java.
Experience working with NoSQL databases.
Strong experience with scripting languages like Python.
Experience with deployment tools like Jenkins.
Experience with Git source control.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated skill in leading other developers.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance is required.
Develop Java code to interact with Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch and other components.
Understanding of industry standard software languages such as C, C#, C++, HTML, Java, Python, and Bash
Experience with software tools for requirements tracking, code reviews, static analysis, library and artifact repository, and automated build
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral
Basic understanding of data structures
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.
