Are you a bold thinker? We dream big at Sierra Nevada Corporation—advocating the exploration of space, keeping service members safe and creating the systems that keep our world united and sustain our way of living. Join our team! SNC is currently seeking a mid-level aerospace engineer to join our Aerosciences Team in support of the DreamChaser Commercial Resupply Services Program. The Aerosciences Team is responsible for a broad range of analyses including vehicle venting, aerodynamic characterization through multiple flight regimes, aerothermal heating, and thruster plume dynamics. Aerosciences also leads wind tunnel testing efforts for the program. As a member of Aerosciences you will be exposed to a wide variety of challenging problems where analyses will range from using First Principle Models to complex CFD, database generation, and wind tunnel testing support. Aerosciences is looking for a candidate who is energetic, a self-starter, and who can pick up new tasks with minimal oversight.

At SNC’s Space Systems Group (SSG) we are not only the creator of the Dream Chaser® spacecraft, but also the designer and manufacturer of rocket engines and components, systems that sustain life in deep space, as well as systems and satellites that improve life here on Earth. The work of our Space Systems team not only supports the U.S. government (including NASA), but also commercial customers and international organizations. Learn more about SSG
