As a Product Support & Logistics Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include performing logistics and maintenance related analysis, requirements generation and planning for new a multi-domain system. The candidate will influence the system concept of operations and design to enhance supportability and utilize engineering data from various sources to determine logistics requirements.

The Product Support and Logistics Engineer will work across IPTs, Design Engineering, Program Management to apply logistics engineering principles and complete assignments to support the program schedule.

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6+ years of relatable work experience
  • Familiarity with TO 00-5-3 processes and requirements
  • Familiarity with MIL-HDBK 1388-2B, GEIA-0007, and S1000D
  • Experience establishing product support requirements, design of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SAP eligibility required.

Preferred Qualifications (Level 3):

  • MS degree in engineering, Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related discipline with 5-9 years of relatable work experience
  • Knowledge or experience developing Logistics and Maintenance concepts to support new product development.
  • Experience with PLM Tools
  • Proficient with 3D design / 2D drawing CAD
  • Hands on experience in equipment maintenance, fabrication, assembly, power, hand and measuring tools
  • In depth Aerospace maintenance experience
  • Knowledge in design of mechanical and electrical subsystems
  • Knowledge in the development of Support Equipment design solutions
  • Military experience, with logistics support, with knowledge of multiple systems such as; end to end supply chain management, integrated logistics management, logistics planning and execution  is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform reliability (MTBF, MTBCF, MTBR, Ao) analysis, maintainability and logistics (MTBM, MTTR, MDT, LDT, TAT) analysis, sparing analysis, and simulations which support military and industry standards.
  • An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance required.
