Overview:  The Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Business Area is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative high performance ISR systems providing aircraft systems design, modification, integration, test and certification as a complete end-to-end Aircraft System.

Special Project: A-29 Super Tucano for LAS mission - U.S. Air Force's Light Air Support (LAS) mission requires an aircraft that must offer intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) support; deliver a wide variety of munitions (including precision guided weapons); and operate in extremely rugged terrain and austere conditions. ISR has teamed up with Embraer North America to offer the A-29 Super Tucano (Super T) as the best platform to meet the LAS mission. The Super T was designed without compromise from the ground up for the LAS mission. Made in America, the Super T is the only plane that meets LAS requirements today and into the future. SNC's ISR/Tactical Communications (TC) is unique to the Rapid Deployment Forces as the only “Cradle to Grave” facility supporting the tactical communicator. TC, a “Total Systems Provider” for the warfighter and first-responders specializes in:

• Design and production of custom portable/person pack secure telecommunications products
• Training and support of communications systems in commercial and military vehicles and aircraft including:
  • SHF, INMARSAT, BGAN, Tactical Radios
• Aircraft Training using Cessna Caravan and 206, and PC-12
  • Provides for backend communications training to Department of Defense (DoD)
