AN-TSQ-216 Remote Landing Site Tower (RLST)

SNC developed and produced the state-of-the-art Remote Landing Site Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower for the U.S. Marine Corps expeditionary forces. Mobile, rugged, tactical and flexible, the RLST provides the Marines with solid expeditionary airfield control in forward areas.

 

Features include:

  • A tactical mobile control tower housed in a modified S-250 shelter, mounted on the M-1097 HMMWV
  • Two position console with supervisor/training override
  • Communications switching system, digital voice recorder, removable GRC-206 Radio Set Controls - in-transit communications, VHF/UHF AM and SINCGARS
  • Dual 10 kW diesel generators
  • System is transportable by C-130 or UH-60 lift
