SNC Receives Technology Award from Washington County, Maryland

Hagerstown, Maryland – March 1, 2008 – Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) received the
Technology Award on February 27 from the Washington County, Maryland Chamber of
Commerce and the Economic Development Commission.

The Technology Award was one of nine awards given honoring local companies and
organizations at the 9th annual Washington County Business Awards. Categories range from
entrepreneurship and innovation, to work-force development and customer service.

Development Commission. Hagerstown is an important location for our company.”, said SNC
Chairwoman of the Board Eren Ozmen.

SNC’s Integrated Mission Systems (IMS) business area is located in Hagerstown. IMS performs
