SNC receives 2008 David Packard Excellence Award

Sparks, NV, Dec. 3, 2008 – Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is pleased to announce that SNC was a recipient of the 2008 David Packard Excellence Award for the USSOCOM Standoff Precision Guided Munition (SOPGM) Quick Reaction Capability team. SNC was the prime integrator tasked with rapidly fielding a low collateral damage guided weapon into the Global War on Terror. The development, integration and combat employment of this complex weapon system was completed in record time with devastating results.
