SNC Awarded $7.6 Million Information Management and Storage (IM&S) System Sparks, Nevada – October 2007– Sierra Nevada Corporation announces that it has received a
$7.6 million contract from Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) to provide systems
engineering, system development, test and integration on the Northrop Grumman IM&S
contract from National Security Agency.. Sierra Nevada Corporation’s Intelligence, SNC is a member of the NGC IM&S program team, which also include BAE Systems, San Diego; IBM, Bethesda, Md.; Sparta, Inc., Lake Forest, CA.; as well as several distinguished small and disadvantaged businesses. IM&S will provide long-term, uniform access to electronic intelligence data collected across the U.S.Department of Defense and intelligence community. The system will directly support the information sharing strategy of the Director of national Intelligence and the Defense Department's net-centric vision.
