SNC Receives EDAWN’s Large “Business of the Year” Award

Sparks, Nevada – (March 21, 2003) – Sierra Nevada Corporation announced today that it was awarded the
Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada’s (EDAWN) Large “Business of the Year” award.

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) received the award for being an outstanding citizen company within Western
Nevada.

The award further recognizes SNC for exemplary contributions to the community, environmental consciousness, and higher than average wage/import ratios for the community.

SNC was provided with the award during EDAWN's Annual Luncheon in which many local businesses and community leaders were present. Nominees included Adagio Trust Company, Alere Medical, ITS Logistics,
Promenade on the River, HAWCO Properties, Shoppers Square Mall, Cricket Communications, Haws Corporation, Washoe Medical Center South Meadows, Harley-Davidson Financial Services, Veka West, Inc., and TRW, Inc.
