Sierra Nevada Corporation Awarded Competitive Contract Valued Over $600M from US Customs and Border Protection Sparks, NV - 30 September 2009 – Sierra Nevada Corporation’s President, Eren Ozmen is pleased to announce that SNC has been awarded a competitive contract valued at over $600M for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Multirole Enforcement Aircraft. Eren Ozmen stated, “This is a strategic win for us in realizing our diversification objectives into Homeland Security Department as well as others, like International markets.” The initial Base contract is for $95M for 5 Beechcraft 350ER aircraft with 4 one-year options up to 30 aircraft over the life of the program. The MEA program will be performed by SNC's IMS Business Area in Hagerstown, MD.
