Chief Executive Officer: Fatih Ozmen

Fatih Ozmen is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC).  His leadership and in-depth knowledge of technology constantly drive SNC to develop solutions in an agile and innovative manner while continually maintaining a strong customer focus.  Known as a creative thinker and problem solver, Fatih brings outstanding strategic management skills and extensive business leadership experience to his position.

Fatih joined SNC in 1981 with a broad engineering background culminating with a M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.  He designed and developed numerous high-tech systems and managed several key integration programs during his early years at SNC.  As he demonstrated his abilities, Fatih continued to move up in the company serving as an Engineer, Program Manager, Vice President, General Manager and finally as President.  With a strong vision for the future of SNC, Fatih and his wife Eren Ozmen acquired the company in 1994 and set their plans in motion to expand and grow.  As a direct result of their emphasis on integrity, strategic planning, and strong financial and technical management, SNC has grown into one of the top performing Federal Contractors in the United States.

In the time that Fatih Ozmen has led SNC, the organization has grown from a company of less than 20 employees in 1990s, to the diverse present day corporation of over 1100 employees at 24 locations in 13 states.  One of the keys to this exceptional growth and strategic diversity was the successful acquisition and synergistic integration of 10 electronics and avionics firms over the past 10 years.  While continually seeking to develop new business opportunities, Fatih remains active in the day to day activities of SNC focusing on corporate agility and technical innovation.
