We are seeking a Mission Systems Operator (MSO) with at least 3+ years of relevant experience. In this challenging, fast-paced environment, you'll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience to administer pre-/post-flight manned ISR aircrew missions to support the design and creation of the the most groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies - those that exist today and those that will shape tomorrow. What to look forward to: As an MSO/Airborn Mission Commander (AMC), you will be using your skills and expertise to support our OCONUS operational missions using RADAR, MX-15, ORM and CRM principles. You'll be responsible for operating our airborne sensor equipment to acquire, track, and monitor airborne, ground and/or maritime objects of interest in routine and dynamic target area searches and performing preflight, inflight, and post-flight duties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Completion of pre-mission briefing and mission coordination
  • Completion of required coordination and systems checks
  • Responsible for radio communications procedures and proficiency
  • Ability to identify, characterize and report customer targets
  • Facilitate direction and coordination with the PIC/SIC to position the aircraft
  • Responsible for consistent and effective operation of mission systems
  • Ability to demonstrate crew discipline and knowledge of aviation requirements
  • Adhere to standardized procedures; checklists, safety and security considerations

*This role is on a 60/60 rotation which may be subject to change*

MUST-HAVES:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and at least 3+ years of relevant experience
    • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
    • Related experience, including military training, may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Advanced sensor system operations (location, identification and tracking of targets) in a maritime and littoral environment
  • Experience with radar systems; Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), as well as Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR)
  • Counter surveillance training desired
  • EO/IR (Full Motion Video) experience preferred
  • Tactical communications/Airborne command and control (C2) (coordinating and directing ground and water borne assets)
  • Knowledge and application of Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) Interrogation system/s
  • Knowledge and application of Automatic Identification System (AIS) system/s and architecture
  • Target rigging procedures
  • Crew Resource Management (CRM) training desired    
  • An active TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance is required

PREFERRED:

  • ISR experience
  • Experience with Windows 10 Falcon View or Force Map technology
  • Experience as a CRM/ORM Instructor
