As a Sr Earned Value Management Specialist, you will provide Earned Value Management implementation support to ensure compliance with all government requirements. As a Sr EVM Specialist you will develop standard formats, conduct EVM training to develop EVM skills, and provide EVM oversight to establish program management ownership of program performance data. You will provide analytics on areas to improve business performance. You will also support the Program Finance leaders in fulfilling their responsibilities to ongoing cross department continuous improvement, problem solving, project implementation, training, and governance efforts.

A Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field and 10 years or more of related work experience.
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
A proven background and competency in Earned Value Management
Ability to develop effective EVM procedures, training, and work instructions relative to regulatory standards and internal processes
Familiarity with DoD, government contracting and/or public auditing, policies, standards, and procedures
Apply Earned Value Management concepts in working with federal government contracts, budget process, and fund management
Capability to perform in depth earned value data analysis, inclusive of data quality checks and CDRL/SDRL (IPMR, CFSR, CSDR, etc.) review
Comfortable working independently on assigned tasks to fulfill requested changes, enhancements and updates to existing processes and tools
Advanced skills in Earned Value Management software (Deltek Cobra), and familiarity with scheduling software (MS Project) and self service analytics (PowerBI)
Ability to resolve advanced Cobra troubleshooting and administration requests
Continuous engagement to understand current and future tool capabilities relative to business needs
Ability to develop and conduct relevant stakeholder learning sessions.
Foundational understanding of Program Management processes
Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Knowledge of program finance processes, procedures, and tools
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
